PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable wavelength light source capable of stabilizing the optical characteristics of emission light and also capable of expanding the wavelength band of emission light.SOLUTION: A variable wavelength light source 1A includes: a first optical resonator R1 comprising a first laser medium M1, a total reflection mirror K1A, and a half mirror K2; a second optical resonator R2 comprising a second laser medium M2, a total reflection mirror K1B, and a half mirror K2; a first filter FP1 having a pair of first mirrors S1a, S1b and selectively transmitting and reflecting first light L1 and second light L2; a second filter FP2 having a pair of second mirrors S2a, S2b and selectively transmitting and reflecting the first light L1 and the second light L2; a first drive mechanism A1 for actuating the first mirror S1a and the second mirror S2a in conjunction with each other; and a second drive mechanism A2 for actuating the second mirror S2b. |
