<p>The present invention provides an asynchronous data transmission apparatus using an optical sensor and a transmission method thereof. The present invention is configured to decide a high/low state by the brightness of a light source at a receiving side terminal, receiving asynchronous data with a periodic, namely, random pulse width, from a transmission side terminal via optical communications; and to discriminate bits of the asynchronous data via a validation process in accordance with a signal detection of a rising edge or a falling edge, thereby easily deciding whether the received asynchronous data is data with effectiveness and also enhancing transmission and reception efficiency of the asynchronous data in accordance with the optical communications while more smoothly realizing data transmission and reception between terminals which make optical communications.</p> |
