<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonly use an opening/closing mechanism for a circuit breaker and an earth leakage detection unit.SOLUTION: In a circuit breaker formed so as to mount an earth leakage detection unit to the side face of a molded-case circuit breaker includes an opening/closing mechanism part 8 composed of a movable contact 4 having a movable contact 4a brought into contact with and separated from a stationary contact 3a, a movably supported latch 6, and a plate-like latch receiver 7 for locking the latch 6 in an ON state and opening the movable contact 4 if locking of the latch 6 and the latch receiver 7 is released. The earth leakage detection unit includes an operation handle, the opening/closing mechanism composed of the latch and the latch receiver, and an earth leakage detecting function, an elliptical groove part 7d is provided on one plate-like surface of the latch receiver 7, and an interlocking pin is detachably provided on the other surface of the latch receiver.</p> |
