<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify whether a deterioration phenomenon at the inside of a battery is caused due to a positive electrode plate or caused due to a negative electrode plate, and also analyze the deterioration degree of the battery.SOLUTION: In a method for analyzing deterioration in a battery, a positive electrode plate or a negative electrode plate is taken out from a lithium ion secondary battery, a symmetrical battery is prepared so that the electrode plates having been taken out face each other with a separator interposed therebetween; an internal impedance of the battery is measured at a plurality of frequencies; and the sum of charge transfer resistance and mass transfer resistance of the electrode plates is calculated. The internal impedance is preferably measured at a temperature in the range of -10°C to 10°C.</p> |
