A transmitting/receiving system for transmitting and receiving mobile service data and a data processing method are disclosed. The receiving system can comprise a demodulator, a pre-signaling decoder, a post-signaling decoder, and a block decoder. One transport frame consists of a number of sub-frames, and one sub-frame consists of a number of slots. The demodulator demodulates the mobile service data, which is allocated to some segments of at least one slot and received, based on decoded pre-signaling data. The pre-signaling decoder decodes the pre-signaling data, which is allocated to a first slot of the sub-frame and received, and outputs the result to the demodulator. The post-signaling decoder decodes the post-signaling data, which is allocated to follow the pre-signaling data and received. The block decoder turbo-decodes the demodulated mobile service data based on the decoded post-signaling data. |
