<p>Disclosed is a method for preventing the slip of a vehicle, capable of increasing the grip of a tire by control of motor-driven power steering (MDPS) when a tire slip occurs due to rapid turning of a vehicle, thereby securing the stability of a vehicle operation. The method for preventing the slip of a vehicle includes a process of analyzing a vehicle speed and a steering angle to determine whether rapid turning has occurred; a process of calculating lateral acceleration by a wheel speed, and measuring an actual lateral acceleration by a lateral acceleration detection unit if rapid turning has occurred; a process of comparing the calculated lateral acceleration with the measured actual lateral acceleration to determine whether the tire slipping has occurred by lateral force; and a process of generating repetitive steering torque by operation of MDPS to increase the grip of the tire if the tire slip is determined to be caused by the lateral force.</p> |
