<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an original image from being obscured by a composition image in a printed image which combines a composition image with an original image, and also achieve control of visualization and non-visualization of the composition image with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a color correction/black generation section 15 for generating a first composite image by combining a composition image with a composing image composition region of an original image. The color correction/black generation section 15 generates the first composite image by combining the composition image with the composing image composition region of the original image by making settings so that, on a colorimetry of a first printed image obtained by printing the first composite image, pixel values of individual pixels of the composition image are metameric, namely being equal to the pixel values of the corresponding individual pixels of the composition image composition region with a first light source, and the pixel values of the individual pixels of the composing image have pixel values respectively different from the pixel values of the corresponding individual pixels of the composition image composition region with a second light source whose spectral characteristics are different from those of the first light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
