<p>Wireless telecommunications network nodes, methods and computer program products are disclosed. A small cell base station method comprises detecting an increase in interference from user equipment being supported by a serving base station; and transmitting an instruction to cause the serving base station to instruct the user equipment to reduce its transmission resource to reduce the interference. This reduction in these resources may lead to a reduction in the interference. In this way, it is possible for the base station which is experiencing the interference caused by the user equipment being supported by another base station to instruct that serving base station to instruct the user equipment being served by that base station to reduce its transmission resources in order to reduce interference.</p> |
