PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a platinum-tin-metal-alumina catalyst for manufacturing C4 olefin (1-butene, 2-butene, i-butene, and 1,3-butadiene) through direct dehydrogenation reaction of normal-butane, and a manufacturing method of C4 olefin using the catalyst.SOLUTION: The sintering phenomenon of platinum particles are prevented to maintain the particle size of the platinum small for increasing the degree of dispersion, so that the amount of active sites for dehydrogenation reaction increases. Tin is contained to prevent the deposition of carbon, so that the catalyst stability can be enhanced. An additional metal is contained to reduce the degree of deactivation based on the reaction time of the catalyst. As catalyst support, an alumina support suitable for the direct dehydrogenation reaction of normal-butane, having high thermal and mechanical stability, and capable of maintaining the high degree of dispersion of platinum is employed. The manufacturing method of a platinum-tin-metal-alumina catalyst is thus performed. C4 olefin is manufactured by the direct dehydrogenation reaction, using the catalyst manufactured by the method. |
