<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of restarting printing at an appropriate position of a middle paper sheet and an outside paper sheet after occurrence of transportation abnormality at a post processing device.SOLUTION: A printing device is connected to a post processing device which performs case binding for wrapping a paper bundle consisting of a plurality of pieces of middle paper sheets with an outside paper sheet, and prints the outside paper sheet and the middle paper sheets, and then sends them to the post processing device. The printing device includes a control part which controls printing of the middle paper sheets and the outside paper sheet interlocking with the post processing device. The control part, in a case of overlap of transportation periods at least partially, and when printing is restarted after the transportation abnormality of the outside paper sheet or the middle paper sheets that occurs inside the post processing device is settled, sets the print restart information of the middle paper sheets which is a print restart point of the middle paper sheets and the print restart information of the outside paper sheet which is a print restart point of the outside paper sheet, and controls restart of printing according to the setting.</p> |
