<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of always capturing a clear image by reliably removing a cleaning fluid remaining at the small-diameter tip of the endoscope when washing the tip, with an extremely simple constitution.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprising an insertion part to be inserted to the inside of an observation target comprises: a tip face 40 which is configured at the tip of the insertion part and includes a transparent optical area for guiding light to an image sensor 17; and a water pouring part 38 which discharges the cleaning fluid for washing a range equivalent to at least the optical area of the tip face 40. A water repellent coat is applied to the range of the optical area, and a hydrophilic coat area 52 is provided at a part facing the water pouring part 38 across the optical area, on the tip face 40.</p> |
