<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent discharge unevenness among nozzles of ink jet heads.SOLUTION: An ink jet printer comprises: a calorific value calculation part 11 which calculates calorific values of heat generated in corresponding ink chambers for every nozzle of ink jet heads 130a-130d on the basis of image data; a difference calculation part 12 which calculates the respective differences between the largest calorific value among the calorific values of heat generated in the ink chambers corresponding to the respective nozzles of the plurality of nozzles and the calorific values of the ink chambers corresponding to other nozzles except the nozzle corresponding to the largest calorific value on the basis of the calorific values calculated by the calorific value calculation part 11; and a drive signal control part 13 which supplies a drive signal for generating the calorific values corresponding to the respective differences to the ink chambers communicated with the other nozzles so as to eliminate the respective differences calculated by the difference calculation part 12 by unit of predetermined number of pages.</p> |
