Parallel reactor systems for synthesizing materials are disclosed. The reactor systems may be suitable for synthesizing materials produced from corrosive reagents. Methods for preparing materials by use of such parallel reactor systems are also disclosed.

1. A parallel reactor system comprising:
a reactor array including at least two reaction vessels; a dispensing system having a needle for dispensing material into the reaction vessels; an antechamber disposed above each reaction vessel; and an antechamber sealing member for forming a seal between the needle and the antechamber upon lowering of the needle into the reaction chamber.
