PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of shortage or excess of cash or occurrence of both in a consumer transaction facility.SOLUTION: A cash management system for managing position information of portable communication terminals capable of acquiring current position information and managing a cash state of an automatic teller machine which detects occurrence of excess and shortage of cash comprises: ATM position information storage means in which installation position information of the automatic teller machine is stored in advance; and control means for performing processing which acquires cash excess and shortage occurrence information detected by the automatic teller machine and the installation position information of the automatic teller machine and notifies the portable communication terminals located within a prescribed range from the installation position of the detected automatic teller machine of a notification message prompting deposit transaction in cash or payment transaction in cash for the detected automatic teller machine using the current position information acquired from the portable communication terminals and the installation position information. |
