<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug to be used for prevention or therapy of diseases, such as dementia, alzheimer disease, attention deficit/hyperactivity, schizophrenia, epilepsy, central convulsion, obesity, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, narcolepsy, idiopathic hypersomnia, behavior-induced insufficient sleep syndrome, sleep apnea syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnia, sleep-related movement disorders, insomnia, depression or allergic rhinitis, by inhibition of bonding of histamine to histamine H3 receptor.SOLUTION: A preventive or therapeutic agent contains a phenyl triazole derivative compound represented by the formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
