PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical assembly, in which optical axes of laser beams respectively emitted from a red LD, a green LD and a blue LD can be mutually adjusted with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An optical assembly 10A includes a red LD 11, a green LD 12, and a blue LD 13. The red LD, the green LD and the blue LD are mounted on a major surface 30a of a base member 30 via sub-mounts 21 to 23, respectively. A collimator lens 41 collimates red laser light Lfrom the red LD, a collimator lens 42 collimates green laser light Lfrom the green LD; and a collimator lens 43 collimates blue laser light Lfrom the blue LD. The collimator lenses 41 to 43 are mounted on the major surface 30a via sub-base members 51 to 53, respectively. Optical axes of the laser light L, Land Lare substantially at the same height in reference to the major surface 30a. |
