PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mounting of an engaging device when a rotating machine is disposed on a vehicle front side.SOLUTION: A hybrid system includes: an engine ENG; a first rotating machine MG1; a transmission 20 to which the engine ENG is connected; a differential 30 to which the transmission 20 and the first rotating machine MG1 are connected; a clutch CL1 and a brake BK1 for gear shift of the transmission 20 by engaging or disengaging first plates 83, 93 and second plates 84, 94; a casing 60 accommodating the components excluding the engine ENG and connected to the engine ENG; and a cover wall 71 for covering an opening arranged on the engine ENG side of the casing 60. The first rotating machine MG1 is disposed on the engine ENG side relative to the clutch CL1 and the brake BK1. The clutch CL1 is disposed inside a cylinder member 91 of the brake BK1 and the cylinder member 91 is connected to the cover wall 71. |
