<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure coating apparatus which can uniformly transfer a coating liquid onto a base material even in a high-speed coating.SOLUTION: A gravure coating apparatus comprises a gravure roll 10 which transfers a coating liquid on a surface of a base material, a coating unit 11 having a chamber 11a which coats the gravure roll with the coating liquid, and a coating slip supply port 11b which supplies the coating slip into the chamber. In the coating unit, a doctor blade 20 is so disposed at an opening end part of a chamber on a downstream side of a rotation direction of the gravure roll as to contact a peripheral surface of the gravure roll, plural seal plates 22a, 22b, 22c are so disposed with a clearance therebetween at an opening end part of a chamber on an upstream side of the rotation direction of the gravure roll as to contact the peripheral surface of the gravure roll, and all of the plural seal plates are disposed on the upstream side of the rotation direction of the gravure roll with respect to the coating liquid supply port 11b.</p> |
