<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for formation of an antiglare layer useful for production of an antiglare film showing a high antiglare function and methods of manufacturing, by using the mold, an antiglare film and an antiglare plate which prevent lowering of visibility due to whitening sufficiently while showing an excellent antiglare function and cause no glaring when arranged on the surface of a high-precision image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a mold for formation of an antiglare layer comprises forming a surface having a fine irregular structure (A) by blasting one surface of a metal member of the mold and forming an electrolytic nickel-plated layer on the surface having the structure (A) to form a surface having a fine irregular structure (B). The mean length Sm1, the arithmetical mean inclination angle R▵a1 and the arithmetical mean height Ra1 of the fine irregular structure (A) and the mean length Sm2, the arithmetical mean inclination angle R▵a2 and the arithmetical mean height Ra2 of the fine irregular structure (B) all lie in specified ranges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
