<p>The present invention relates to a heat pump system including a heat exchanger for an outdoor unit capable of division-defrosting, and a method for operating the heat hump system and, more specifically, to a heat pump system including a heat exchanger for an outdoor unit capable of division-defrosting. The heat pump system includes: a heat exchanger for an outdoor unit provided with a plurality of pipe columns each having independent refrigerant flow path, a plurality of pins, and an air blower for supplying an outer heat source; a compressor configured to compress a flowing refrigerant to discharge a high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant; an indoor unit provided indoor to exchange heat between the flowing refrigerant and indoor air; a direction change valve configured to discharge the refrigerant discharged by the compressor to the indoor unit or the heat exchanger for an outdoor unit; an expansion valve provided between the indoor unit and the heat exchanger for an outdoor unit to expand the flowing refrigerant; a four-way valve connected to an inflow line of each of the pipe columns; and a bypass line having one side end connected between the direction change valve and the indoor unit, and the other side end connected to the four-way valve, wherein each of the pipe columns is arranged in a straight line within the heat exchanger for an outdoor unit, or arranged in a zigzag form.</p> |
