<p>1284811 Valves TOKYO KEIKI KK 27 Jan 1970 [27 Jan 1969 (2) 28 Jan 1969] 3910/70 Heading F2V The flow rate of a fluid is kept constant by a unit comprising a throttle 1 and a pressure regulator 10 2 and reliable operation of the regulator at low flow rates is ensured by the provision of a second throttle 22 in a duct 54 which by-passes the throttle 1. The pressures upstream and downstream of the latter are applied to opposite ends of the regulator 10 2 which is spring-loaded and adjusts the size of a flow passage 13 communicating with the outlet 9. If the spring-loading is reversed the outlet may be used as an inlet. The second throttle may be fixed or variable.</p> |
