<p>The method involves providing and using digitized data of three dimensional-topography of a surface structure (4) of a template. The data is used for position controlling of a machining head in a plane or a worktable is adjusted opposite to the head. A z-coordinate is used for controlling the head, where the coordinate images the height of the topography of the structure. A surface (2) of a workpiece (1) is partially removed by the head for reproduction of a predetermined three dimensional-topology of the structure, where the z-coordinate determines the removal depth. An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing a surface structure.</p> |
