The present invention relates to ice having disinfect functions in order to prevent or inhibit food spoilage and bacterial multiplication by being used in distribution or storage of fishes, shellfishes and fresh foods, and to a manufacturing method thereof comprising: (a) a step of preparing hydrogen peroxide added as a disinfectant in order to allow ice to have a disinfect function and silver ions for stabilizing the hydrogen peroxide; (b) a step of preparing water for ice manufacture being added to drinking water by mixing the hydrogen peroxide and silver ions prepared in step (a); and (c) a step of manufacturing ice by using the water for ice manufacture prepared in step (b). The drinking water includes 70-400 ppm of the hydrogen peroxide and 0.6-20 ppm of the silver ions and is able to prevent or inhibit food spoilage and bacterial multiplication by being used in distribution or storage of fishes, shellfishes and fresh foods. |
