<p>The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing a green plum fermented extract for skin whitening and a method for preparing the same. A freeze-dried powder of the green plum fermented extract is prepared by obtaining an extract by repeating a low-temperature extraction method 2-3 times wherein the low-temperature extraction method is performed on a dried plum powder and, as a solvent, water of 1-10 times the weight of the dried plum powder at an extraction temperature of 20-60°C for about 12-24 hours; filtering the extract under reduced pressure; sterilizing the filtered extract using a 0.2 um filter; inoculating a kefir strain (Kazachstania unispora) cultured liquid into the sterilized extract to have a concentration of 1-10%; culturing the kefir strain at 20-25°C for 4-7 days to obtain a green plum fermented extract; filtering the green plum fermented extract under reduced pressure; and freeze-drying the filtered green plum fermented extract. A cosmetic composition for skin exfoliation and skin whitening contains the freeze-dried powder of the green plum fermented extract as an active ingredient, and thus uses natural components, thereby exhibiting skin exfoliating and skin whitening effects while being safe for the skin.</p> |
