The present invention aims to provide an electrode and a lithium secondary battery having increased output at low temperatures and increased energy density. The electrode includes an electric current collector; and electrode material layers formed on the electric current collector. The electrode material layers include a first electrode material layer and a second electrode material layer which are different from each other. According to claim 1, the first electrode material layer is formed on one side of the electric current collector; and the second electrode material layer is formed on the other side of the electric current collector. |
