<p>An ultrasonic transducer (1) is provided with a metal cover (2), a resin case (3), a piezoelectric element (4), external connection terminals (5, 6), and conductive rubber members (7, 8). The metal cover (2) has a tubular shape which opens in the sound wave transmitting/receiving direction. The resin case (3) has a closed-bottom tubular shape which opens at the front side, comprises a left face side dividing member and a right face side dividing member, and is held by the metal cover (2). The piezoelectric element (4) is provided with a piezoelectric layer and an electrode layer and is held by the resin case (3). The external connection terminals (5, 6) and the conductive rubber members (7, 8) are provided between the resin case (3) and the left and right side faces of the piezoelectric element (4) and are conductive with the electrode layer of the piezoelectric element (4). An elastic deformation part (2B) which applies elastic force to the resin case (3) is formed in the vicinity of the center of the right side face and left side face of the metal cover (2).</p> |
