<p>The present invention pertains to a toothbrush (1) provided with a handle body (1a), the tip of which is provided with a head section (10). Bundles (12a, 12b) of bristles are embedded, with a density of at least 2,500 bristles per square centimeter, in a bristle-embedding surface (11) on the head section (10). The quotient (A/B) of the perpendicular stiffness (A) of the bristles in newtons per square centimeter and the horizontal stiffness (B) of the bristles in newtons is greater than or equal to 40 cm-2. The present invention makes it possible to provide a toothbrush that has highly flexible bristle tips, has bristle bundles that feel good against the gums, and produces a strong feeling of cleanliness.</p> |
