<p>PURPOSE: An oil supply passage for a variable compression ratio engine is provided to reduce pressure loss because linearity for drilling oil holes in a connecting rod is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: An oil supply passage for a variable compression ratio engine comprises a cylinder block(100), an oil supply adapter(200), a fastening bolt(220), a branch pipe(102), an oil inlet port, and a connecting rod oil supply pipe(210). The oil supply adapter is installed on the bottom of the cylinder block. The fastening bolt is coupled to the oil supply adapter. The branch pipe is branched from a fastening hole(101) of the fastening bolt to supply oil through the fastening hole. The oil inlet port is formed on both ends of the crank pin of a crank shaft and connected to the branch pipe to supply oil. The connecting rod oil supply pipe is connected to a connecting rod through the oil inlet port.</p> |
