摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for mass production of carbon quantum dots having a uniform size by using emulsion and an organic light emitting device, a solar cell, and a photocatalyst prepared thereby. The method for preparing carbon quantum dots according to the present invention is characterized in that a carbon source is dispersed by using a surfactant including a functional group which can be bound to carbon quantum dots; and the carbon source is carbonated by heating the resultant. The method for preparing carbon quantum dots according to the present invention shows excellent reaction yield and allows of mass production and process simplification by using emulsion. In the method for preparing carbon quantum dots according to the present invention, a size of carbon quantum dots may be optionally adjusted. The method for preparing carbon quantum dots according to the present invention can prepare carbon quantum dots having a uniform size and excellent quantum yield. The method for preparing carbon quantum dots according to the present invention can prepare carbon quantum dots suitable for application for an organic light emitting device, a solar cell, and a photocatalyst.</p>
