The present invention relates to a cluster display device and a method thereof, and more specifically, to a cluster display device which changes an instrument panel for providing information on a cluster equipped in a vehicle according to a vehicle driving status, the light color of a pointer of the instrument panel, lighting brightness, and a lighting range, and a method thereof. The cluster display device of the present invention comprises a driving detection unit which detects the driving status of a vehicle, a display unit which converts the display method of a cluster equipped in the vehicle; and a control unit which displays a scale plate and a scale plate pointer based on the detected driving condition by controlling the display unit and generates a control signal for a display method including the brightness level, the brightness range, and color of the scale plate by checking the current driving condition of the vehicle in real time. |
