Role of AMPK and Adiponectin During Development of Hepatic Steatosis in High Fat Diet-induced Obesity Rats

Disclosed is a method for detecting adenosine monophosphate-activated protease and adiponectin in a progression phase of hepatic steatosis of high fat diet-induced obesity rats. The method comprises the steps of: providing three-week-old rats; feeding high lipid feed to the rats for 15 weeks in a specific pathogen blocking breeding facility and inducing dietary obesity; collecting blood of the rats; and measuring leptin and adiponectin in blood of the rats by enzyme immunoassay.
