<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales data registration processing device, and a merchandise sales data registration processing system with which recommended merchandise according to a change in the weather outside a store can be timely presented to customers.SOLUTION: A merchandise sales data registration processing device includes: an operator-side input/output device; a customer face output device that is arranged to face a customer side to output information; a printer; a merchandise master that stores a unit price, which is an identifier uniquely allocated to each of merchandise, for each merchandise code; and a control unit that receives pieces of information that is transmitted from a server including a transaction file storing the content of every transaction, a threshold file storing a threshold for every observation item related to the weather, and a recommended merchandise file storing information on recommended merchandise for every observation item, the pieces of information including information on recommended merchandise corresponding to an observation item in which the output of a sensor observing the weather outside the store has exceeded a threshold and information on the weather outside the store, and displays, on the customer face output device, the information on the recommended merchandise and the information on the weather outside the store.</p> |
