<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of an elevator which is remotely monitored.SOLUTION: A remote monitoring support device 120 is configured to: acquire a floor signal indicating a floor at which a cage of an elevator locates, from a control board 110 that controls operation of the elevator; on the basis of the acquired signals, calculate the number of floors passed by the cage each time the floor indicated by the signal changes; and store the calculated number of floors. When the remote monitoring support device 120 receives a diagnosis instruction from a control server computer 130, the remote monitoring support device 120 transmits information about the number of floors stored until reception of the diagnosis instruction, to the control server computer 130. On the basis of the number of floors received from the remote monitoring support device 120 and a linear measure of one floor of the building in which the elevator is installed, the control server computer 130 calculates a travel distance of the cage and outputs report information.</p> |
