An information processing device is provided with: a processing unit that runs an operating system; a main non-volatile storage device that can be directly accessed by the processing unit and that comprises a controller; and an external storage device that cannot be directly accessed by the processing unit. The information processing device is characterized in that when the processing unit detects an error in the operating system, the processing unit resets except for the main non-volatile storage device and restarts the operating system, and the controller writes the data of the main non-volatile storage device to the external storage device. |
