摘要 The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a glass-fiber-reinforced monofilament comprising glass filaments encased in resin, which comprises at least the following steps: creating a flat arrangement of glass filaments and moving said arrangement in a forward direction; in a vacuum chamber, degassing the glass filament arrangement by vacuum; outside the vacuum chamber after degassing, passing said arrangement through an impregnation chamber in a vacuum such as to impregnate said glass filament arrangement with a liquid-state photocurable resin composition in order to obtain an impregnated material containing the glass filaments and the resin composition; passing said impregnated material through a sizing sleeve, comprising a cross-section having a predefined surface and shape, such as to give said impregnated material a monofilament shape; and downstream from the sizing sleeve, in a UV irradiation chamber, polymerizing the resin composition using UV rays. Said method is characterized in that: the speed at which the monofilament passes through the irradiation chamber is greater than 0 m/min; the duration of the irradiation of the monofilament in the irradiation chamber is no shorter than 1.5 seconds; and the irradiation chamber comprises a UV-transparent tube, through which the monofilament travels while being formed, and having an inert gas current passing therethrough.
