PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous rotor for a rotary electric machine, which is capable of forming a resin end portion without generating resin leakage and securing centrifugal force resistant intensity of the resin end portion.SOLUTION: A synchronous rotor 1 for a rotary electric machine is configured by burying permanent magnets 3 into a cylindrical rotor core 2 formed by lamination of a plurality of circular-arc-shaped core plates 2a. Each of the circular-arc-shaped core plates 2a includes magnet holes 3a perforated on the outer peripheral side of the plate to insert permanent magnets 3 and through-holes 5 perforated on the inner peripheral side of the plate as compared with the magnet holes 3a. The plurality of core plates 2a are laminated in a rotor axis Ax direction. A divided rein mold structure 10 is formed so as to include: a resin coupling portion 11 formed by filling the through-hole 5 with thermoplastic resin in a state where the permanent magnet 3 is inserted; and a resin end portion 12 which adopts the core plate 2a at least on the circular arc as a maximum division unit and covers a pair of magnet end faces 3b arranged on both end faces in the rotor axis Ax direction so as to be extended from the resin coupling portion 11. |
