PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for visualizing and automatically detecting a defect generated inside a metal-clad laminate to determine the quality of the defect at high speed with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The inspection method comprises: placing a reflective plate, a metal-clad laminate, and an ultrasonic probe in water; placing the reflective plate and the ultrasonic probe so as to be oppositely positioned through the metal-clad laminate; irradiating the metal laminate with an ultrasonic wave generated by the ultrasonic probe; detecting the amount of energy reflected to the ultrasonic probe through the reflective plate after the ultrasonic wave passes the outer layer metal foil, resin, and base material of the metal laminate; and determining a defect region of the metal-clad laminate by a difference between the irradiation energy and the detection energy. |
