<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hosiery which is easy to pull up firmly for wearing and which hardly causes deformation in the open edge part.SOLUTION: An open edge part 2 of an article of hosiery is made of a belt-like fabric and formed in a loop shape in which the fabric surfaces face each other. A space inside the loop shape is made a finger insertion part. The belt-like fabric comprising the open edge part is continuously woven from the body fabric. The connection part 4 of the belt-like fabric and the body fabric is woven wider than the center part of the belt-like fabric which is the portion of the open edge part, with a trapezoidal shape formed and with the short side faced to the center. The thickness of the belt-like fabric is made the same as or thinner than the thickness of the body fabric.</p> |
