<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face plate of a golf head which creates high elastic repulsion and enlarges a sweet zone on the face plate.SOLUTION: There is provided a face plate of a golf head which is characterized as follows. The face plate of the golf head comprises a face surface and a back surface which are respectively positioned on both sides opposite to each other. In the face plate, an impact zone and an elastic annular area which surrounds the periphery of the impact zone and is positioned in the vicinity of the peripheral edge of the face plate are demarcated. On the elastic annular area in the back surface of the face plate, a plurality of annular grooves which is arranged in and out with intervals is formed, and an annular flange is formed between the two adjacent annular grooves.</p> |
