PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device in which a white organic EL element and a resonance structure are combined and color separation is performed by a color filter, the light-emitting device that is improved in color purity and facilitates manufacturing even when down-sizing itself.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes a first substrate 10, a reflection layer 12 disposed on the first substrate 10, a light-emitting function layer 16 disposed on the reflection layer 12, and a semi-permeable reflection layer 17 disposed on the light-emitting function layer 16. The light-emitting device has a resonance structure in which a light-path length between the reflection layer 12 and the semi-permeable reflection layer 17 is adjusted so as to have the same length in both light-emitting regions. A color filter 19 for taking out light having wavelengths of red, green and blue from light emitted from the light-emitting function layer is disposed in a layer different from the reflection layer 12. A notch filter 20 having minimum transmittance for light having a wavelength between a wavelength of red and a wavelength of green and light having a wavelength between a wavelength of green and a wavelength of blue is disposed in a layer different from the layer having the color filter 19. |
