PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost on-vehicle charging device.SOLUTION: For releasing electrical charges in capacitors C1, C2 after charging a battery 11, the on-vehicle charging device turns a switch 7 on and switches 8a, 8b off, converts by an inverter 3 a voltage VI across the capacitor C1 to an AC voltage to be fed to a primary winding 4a of an insulating transformer 4, and converts by a rectifier 5 an AC voltage appearing in a secondary winding 4b to a DC voltage to be applied to a resistive element 6. Electrical charges in the capacitors C1, C2 are thus released via the single resistive element 6. |
