METHOD USED FOR RAPID TESTING OF HIGHLY VOLATILE SUBSTANCES OF VERY HIGH CONCERN IN TEXTILES

A method used for rapid testing of highly volatile substances of very high concern (SVHC) in textiles, said method being based on ion mobility technology; using the method of direct sampling of a textile sample, or in combination with a processing step before solvent extraction, 11 different kinds of highly volatile substances of very high concern can be rapidly tested within 1-6 minutes, the limit of detection being less than 100 ppm, satisfying the mass content concentration of 1000 ppm as regulated by the European Union REACH legislation; the method shortens the testing period of these volatile organics, making these substances testable online.
