PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water generation system which can be used for a long time without performing large-scale construction.SOLUTION: A hot water generation system includes: a heat source machine for heating water or hot water; a hot water storage tank for storing hot water heated by the heat source machine; and hot water circulation means in which hot water being fed to the hot water storage tank from the heat source machine circulates. The hot water circulation means includes: a protective pipe made of a heat insulating material; and a plurality of pipelines accommodated inside the protective pipe. In the hot water generation system, one pipeline out of the plurality of pipelines is connected to the heat source machine and the hot water storage tank so as to circulate the hot water being fed to the hot water storage tank from the heat source machine, and the hot water does not circulate in the other pipelines out of the plurality of pipelines.
