PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of easily connecting an external connection portion, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device comprises: a lower supporting body 110; a base insulation film 112 having a through-hole 130 arranged on the lower supporting body 110; a light-emitting element 127 arranged on the lower insulation film 112; and an upper supporting body 122 arranged on the light emitting element 127. Further, the through-hole 130 comprises an electrode 131, and an external connection terminal 132 to be connected electrically with the electrode 131 is provided under the base insulation film 112. Moreover, the external connection terminal 132 is connected electrically with an external connection portion 133 and functions as a terminal for inputting a signal or a power supply to the light-emitting device. The light-emitting device is capable of easily connecting the external connection portion. |
