This display device is provided with the following: a display panel; a plurality of backlight units disposed on the rear surface of said display panel; a first frame disposed on the rear surfaces of said backlight units; a heat-conducting sheet disposed on the rear surface of the first frame, from a prescribed position upwards; and a second frame disposed on the rear surface of said heat-conducting sheet. An air layer is formed below the heat-conducting sheet between the first frame and the second frame.
