Disclosed are a saw blade clamping device and a reciprocating saw having the saw blade clamping device. The saw blade clamping device comprises a clamping base (1), an operation piece (3) and a compressing piece (3). The clamping base (1) comprises a connecting portion (11) used for connecting a reciprocating saw transmission mechanism and a loading portion (12) extending out from the connecting portion. A locating mechanism used for locating a saw blade clamping end (41) is arranged on the loading portion (12), the operation piece (3) is installed on the loading portion (12) and can rotate between a locking position and an unlocking position, and the compressing piece (2) is arranged between the loading portion (12) and the operation piece (3) and is driven by the operation piece (3) to compress the saw blade clamping end (41). When the operation piece (3) rotates to the locking position, the operation piece (3) is locked automatically so as to maintain the state that the saw blade clamping end (41) is compressed by the compressing piece (2). When the operation piece (3) rotates to the unlocking position, the compressing state that the saw blade clamping end (41) is compressed by the compressing piece (2) is removed.
