PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical windmill with a deceleration control system, capable of preventing damage or failure to a generator due to an excessive number of rotation of a windmill shaft, and requiring no regular replacement of components thereof within a short period of time.SOLUTION: A vertical windmill with a deceleration control system includes; a windmill stationary shaft; a windmill shaft rotatably fitted onto the windmill stationary shaft; a plurality of blades fixed to the windmill shaft; a generator assembled between the windmill stationary shaft and the windmill shaft; and a deceleration control system including a damping plate, a magnetic-force generating unit, a rectifier, and a control unit. In the vertical windmill, the damping plate is made of metal and fixed on the windmill shaft, the magnetic-force generating unit is fixed on the windmill stationary shaft, and the rectifier includes a rectifying input terminal coupled to a power output terminal, and a rectifying output terminal. |
