Provided is a ferrite stainless steel foil of excellent resistance to oxidation, shape stability at high temperatures, oxide film adhesiveness, and catalyst coating adhesiveness. A ferrite stainless steel foil capable of forming a mixed film of an Al oxide film and a Cr oxide film on the surface under a high temperature oxidation atmosphere of 800°C or more by having a composition: which contains, in mass%, not more than 0.050% C, not more than 0.20% Si, not more than 0.20% Mn, not more than 0.050% P, not more than 0.0050% S, 10.5% to 20.0% Cr, 0.01% to 1.00% Ni, more than 1.5% and less than 3.0% Al, 0.01% to 1.00% Cu, and not more than 0.10% N; which also contains one or more selected from 0.01% to 1.00% Ti, 0.01% to 0.20% Zr, and 0.01% to 0.20% Hf; and in which the remainder is obtained from Fe and unavoidable impurities. |
