<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate determining the amount of liquid actually discharged on a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: When the recording instruction is received, a control device of a printer selects the discharge data of each discharge port and each pixel (data that shows the amount of the ink to be discharged from the discharge port) based on the image data included in the recording instruction. Then the gross amount of the ink to be discharged to the area corresponding to a plurality of pixels on paper based on the discharge data is calculated. Afterwards, the discharge data is corrected based on the pattern of discharge data consecutive over a plurality of pixels corresponding the discharge port so that the ink is stably discharged from the discharge port referring to the correction table. Further, when the amount of the ink that the corrected discharge data shows is different before and after adjustment, the discharge data not corrected is adjusted so that the difference with the gross amount of the calculated ink and the gross amount of the ink actually discharged to the area corresponding to the plurality of the pixel on the paper may become small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
