<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for detecting vehicle intrusion using reverberation. More specifically, provided are a system which detects the vehicle intrusion by detecting volume change of the reverberation and alarms the intrusion when the vehicle intrusion is detected, and a method therefor. The system for detecting vehicle intrusion using reverberation according to the present invention comprises: a body control module (BCM) recognizing an unlocked/locked state of a door and a window for a vehicle, and detecting conversion of the unlocked/locked state of the door and the window; an acoustic sound generator generating sound in a predetermined frequency band when the state of the door and the window is converted into a locked state; a microphone receiving reverberation of the sound transmitted from the acoustic sound generator; an electronic control unit (ECU) operating an alarm device in accordance with the volume of the reverberation acquired from the microphone; and an alarm device operated by a signal processing ECU, and composed of a telematics device and a horn and lamp signal notifying the intrusion of the vehicle.</p> |
